The Canon CLI-231 Cyan (6675C001) is one of the five dye-based colour tanks in the PIXMA TS8820 six-ink system, alongside CLI-231 black, magenta, yellow and gray and the PGI-230 pigment black. Dye inks give vivid colour on glossy photo paper and documents, and because each colour is a separate tank you replace only the one that runs low. Canon lists 8.2 ml of ink per CLI-231 colour tank.
Installing and storage
Install the tank in the slot labelled for its colour, following the replacement steps in the printer manual or on-screen guide. Keep spare tanks sealed in their packaging until needed and store them away from heat and direct sunlight.
