The Canon PGI-280XL Pigment Black tank (2021C001) is the larger-capacity pigment black ink for PIXMA printers that use the PGI-280 and CLI-281 ink system, including the PIXMA TR8620a home office all-in-one we carry. Pigment black is the ink these printers use for text on plain paper, giving sharp, dark characters on documents and forms. The XL size holds more ink than the standard PGI-280 tank, so it needs replacing less often in printers that handle plenty of everyday paperwork. The dye-based CLI-281 colour and black tanks are sold separately.
