The Fellowes Powershred 60Cs is a household cross-cut shredder for bills, bank statements and everyday mail. It takes up to 10 sheets per pass through an 8.75-inch entry and reduces them to 5/32 x 1-9/16 inch particles at security level P-4. Staples, paper clips and plastic credit cards can go through as well. SafeSense technology stops shredding when hands touch the paper opening, which is useful in homes with children or pets. The shredder head lifts off a 6-gallon wastebasket for emptying, and the motor runs for up to 6 minutes before a 20-minute cool-down. It is designed for one user.
