The Canon CLI-65 Black ink tank (4215C002) is one of the eight dye-based ChromaLife100+ inks used by the Canon PIXMA PRO-200S professional photo printer that we stock, and by the earlier PIXMA PRO-200. Canon’s specification page for the PRO-200S lists the CLI-65 tanks as its ink system, with each tank holding 12.6 ml. The CLI-65 formulation is designed for deep blacks and improved dark-tone reproduction in photo prints. Each colour is a separate tank, so only the colour that runs out needs replacing. Black is often used heavily in monochrome and high-contrast photo work, so a spare tank is worth keeping beside the printer.
