The Canon CLI-231 Magenta ink tank (6676C001) is one of the six individual tanks used by the PIXMA TS8820 photo all-in-one: the PGI-230 pigment black plus CLI-231 black, cyan, magenta, yellow and gray. This tank holds dye-based magenta for photos and colour documents. Because every colour sits in its own tank, you replace only the one that runs low and keep using the ink left in the others. Canon lists 8.2 ml of ink in each CLI-231 colour tank.
Installing and storage
Fit the tank into the slot marked with its colour, following the replacement steps in the printer manual or on the printer screen. Keep spare tanks sealed in their packaging and store them away from heat and direct sunlight.
