The CableCreation USB Printer Cable (CC0792) links a computer’s USB-A port to the square USB-B port found on most printers, scanners and all-in-ones, as well as many audio interfaces and MIDI controllers. At 10 ft it gives enough slack to place a printer on a stand or a separate table away from the computer. The cable runs at USB 2.0 data rates up to 480 Mbps and uses gold-plated connectors housed in aluminium shells. Note that the USB-B end is a USB 2.0 Type-B plug, which does not fit the wider USB 3.0 Type-B ports used on some external drives.
