This Ultra Clarity Cables Cat6 patch cable (UC007BL) is a 3 ft black Ethernet lead for short runs on a desk or in a network cabinet, such as connecting a network printer to a nearby switch or a computer to a wall jack. Inside the 5.8 mm PVC jacket are eight stranded bare copper 24 AWG conductors arranged as four unshielded twisted pairs, separated by a PE cross divider. RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and molded strain-relief boots finish each end. The manufacturer lists support for frequencies up to 500 MHz, compliance with TIA/EIA 568, a CM-grade PVC jacket, and backward compatibility with Cat5 and Cat5e equipment.
