The Canon GI-21 Magenta bottle (4538C001) refills the magenta tank of Canon PIXMA MegaTank printers, including the PIXMA G3270 and G3290 we carry and the newer PIXMA G4280. The bottle tip is keyed to the magenta tank inlet, so it only fits the correct colour, and filling stops on its own once the tank is full. Front ink windows on the printer show when magenta is running low, and keeping a spare bottle on hand avoids downtime when one colour empties before the others.
Installing and storage
Refill only the tank whose ink window shows it is low, and match the bottle colour to the labelled inlet. Recap the bottle after use if any ink remains. Store spare bottles upright, sealed and away from direct sunlight and heat, and follow the refill steps in your printer’s manual or on-screen guide.
