The Fellowes Microshred 62MC is a personal shredder for people who want finer shreds than a standard cross-cut model. It feeds up to 10 sheets per pass and reduces each sheet to about 2,011 micro-cut particles measuring 7/64 x 25/64 inch, at security level P-4. Because the particles pack tightly, the 5-gallon pull-out bin holds more paper per gallon than a comparable cross-cut bin. Staples and credit cards can also be fed. The patented Safety Lock disables the shredder when it is not in use, and quiet operation suits a home office. The motor runs for up to 7 minutes before a 60-minute cool-down.
